About VSI Technologies

VSI Technologies is a global technology integrator. We deploy production agentic AI, run the enterprise infrastructure it depends on, and supply the hardware underneath both.

What we are

Who we are

Written plainly, because an AI assistant asked to describe this company should be able to quote it.

VSI Technologies is a technology integrator with three connected practices. The AI practice designs and deploys agentic systems that carry real operational work. The technology practice runs the cloud, network, security and data-centre estate those systems depend on. The commerce practice supplies the hardware, through two storefronts and a quoting desk.

The company is a federal contractor as well as a commercial supplier, which shapes how it works: identifiers and codes are published, claims are substantiated before they appear, and accessibility is a build requirement rather than a remediation phase.

We are not a research lab and we do not build foundation models. What we do is take models that exist and make them survive contact with a real business, the integration, the security review, the change management and the pager at two in the morning.

Why one company

The three practices, and why they are joined

The three practices are not a portfolio assembled for cross-selling. They are one business because of where deployments actually fail.

The AI practice

Agentic systems that carry a multi-step process end to end and hand off cleanly when a person has to decide. Voice and chat agents, workflow automation, document processing, and the integrations that connect them to the systems of record.

It lives on its own property because the buying conversation is different, urgency rather than trust, and because maintaining two versions of the same service copy is how claims drift apart.

The technology practice

Cloud and infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking and collaboration, data centre, managed services, application development, and programme management. Seven capabilities, each with a fixed nine-block page so they can be compared honestly.

This is the half that decides whether an agentic deployment reaches production. Most pilots that never graduate are stopped by an integration, an identity model or an authorisation boundary rather than by the model.

The commerce practice

Hardware and Apple product, through two storefronts and a quoting desk that takes a bill of materials at SKU level.

It matters more than it sounds. When a data-centre refresh or a device programme depends on a lead time, that lead time is a fact we own rather than one we relay from a distributor, which is the difference between a plan and an estimate.

What drives us

Our values

Four values and five working habits. Written as things a client or a colleague can catch us breaking, because a value nobody can be held to is decoration.

01

The client’s outcome is the job

We measure ourselves on what runs in production for the client, not on what was sold to them. When those two diverge, the engagement is off course and we say so.

02

Every person, with respect

Inside the company and at the client’s, in every role. Disagreement is welcome and useful; disrespect is neither, and we do not confuse the two.

03

Global reach, accountable locally

We work across markets and answer to each one we work in, its people, its rules, and the footprint we leave there.

04

Integrity that survives inconvenience

We tell the truth when it costs us: about timelines, about fit, about our own mistakes. This website is built on that rule, what cannot be substantiated is not published.

Five habits the values produce

  1. 01

    We listen before we design

The people who do the work today know where it actually breaks. Every engagement starts by sitting with them, because the documented process and the practised one differ, and the difference is usually the finding.

  2. 02

A question never waits on a hierarchy

Whoever can answer, answers. Routing a client through an account layer to reach an engineer costs a day and adds nothing.

  3. 03

    Bad news travels first

A slipping date or a wrong assumption is reported the day it is known, with a plan attached. Surprises are the one thing we never deliver.

  4. 04

We leave things better run than we found them

Documentation, monitoring, and the client’s own people able to operate what we built. A system only we can run is a dependency, not a delivery.

  5. 05

We keep the promises that got expensive

The commitment that turned out to cost more than expected is the one that gets kept most visibly. Trust is built there or nowhere.

Lasting impact

Our commitment

How we do the work matters as much as what we deliver, and it is the part that outlasts any single engagement.

The impact we aim for is specific rather than grand: operations that run better after we leave than while we are there, public services that answer the people who fund them, equipment kept in service rather than in landfill, and a record, on this site and in our contracts, where every stated result can be checked. A company that builds that way compounds; one that borrows its story does not.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does VSI Technologies do?
VSI Technologies is a global technology integrator with three connected practices. The AI practice designs and deploys agentic systems that carry real operational work. The technology practice runs the cloud, network, security and data-centre estate those systems depend on. The commerce practice supplies the hardware, through two storefronts and a quoting desk. It is a federal contractor as well as a commercial supplier.
Is VSI an AI company or an infrastructure company?
Both, and the combination is the point rather than a compromise. An agentic system fails in production for infrastructure reasons far more often than for model reasons, an integration that was never designed, an identity model nobody owns, a network path nobody can see. A supplier who can only do one half hands the other half to you at exactly the moment it becomes the problem.
Why does the site say some things are not yet published?
Because they are not. VSI is a federal contractor, and a representation a contracting officer cannot verify is a legal exposure rather than a marketing problem. Every number, credential and client name on this site renders from a register where a named person has signed it off with a source, a period and a method. Where that signature does not exist, the page says so rather than filling the space. The site you are reading exists to replace one that did the opposite.
Does VSI build its own AI models?
No. We take models that exist and make them survive contact with a real business, the integration, the security review, the change management, the human decision points, and the pager at two in the morning. If you need original model research, we are the wrong supplier and will say so early.
Who does VSI sell to?
Public-sector bodies and commercial operators, across nine sectors we have chosen to be specific about rather than claiming universal coverage. The common factor is not size or industry; it is that the buyer needs something to run in production under real constraints rather than to be demonstrated.
Where is VSI based?
The head office is in San Diego, California, and the company is registered in a number of other countries across six continents. What each of those registrations actually is, staffed premises, a registered entity, or mail handling, is stated per location rather than described with one flattering word, because that distinction matters to a buyer assessing whether a supplier can deliver in a given market.
How do I check any of this?
Ask, and you will get the document rather than a reassurance. Registration details, codes and certifications are all verifiable in public registers, and where a figure on this site carries a method footnote you can recompute it. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on our own past performance, and it is the one we ask suppliers to meet when we are the buyer.
