What we set today
Nothing. This site does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or preference cookies. There is no consent banner because there is currently nothing to consent to, and a banner asking permission for cookies that do not exist is theatre.
The site works without JavaScript for navigation and forms, so there is also no functional storage required to use it.
What will change
Measurement is planned: cross-domain analytics across the VSI properties, so a visit that starts on one and converts on another can be understood as one journey. When that is connected:
- A consent choice appears before any non-essential cookie is set, not after.
- Declining will be as easy as accepting, one click, same prominence.
- This page will list each cookie, what it is for, who sets it, and how long it lasts.
- The same consent platform runs across all four VSI properties, so a decision made on one is respected on the others.
The commitment worth holding us to: this page is updated before the first cookie is set, not in the sprint afterwards.
Third parties
Booking a call opens Microsoft Bookings, which is a separate service under Microsoft's own terms and may set cookies there. The two storefronts, hardware and Apple product , are separate platforms with their own notices. Nothing on this site loads content from a third party, including fonts, which are served from this domain.
