Procurement

Request a quote

Hardware, services, or both. Send a bill of materials for a line-by-line quote, or describe the requirement and we will scope it with you.

Brand, model or part number if you have it, a description is enough to start.

We use this only to reply with availability, lead time and price. See the privacy statement.

A bill of materials or a spec sheet. Up to 8MB.

What happens next

  • A person reads it. Not an auto-responder with a ticket number.
  • If the requirement is clear, you get a line-item quote with lead times stated.
  • If it is not, you get one question rather than a discovery call.

Faster routes

If you already know the product, the storefronts are quicker than this form.

What we quote

What you can ask for

If it plugs in, racks, images or ships on a pallet, it is in scope. These are where most requests land.

Server, storage and network

Rack and tower servers, storage arrays, switching, firewalls, and the optics and cabling everyone forgets until commissioning day.

End-user devices at volume

Laptops, desktops, tablets and displays, quoted with imaging, enrolment and staged delivery rather than as a pallet arriving at a loading bay.

Apple product for business and education

Institutional Apple purchasing, including device enrolment and management, through the Apple channel.

Wireless and site infrastructure

Access points, controllers, structured cabling, and the survey that should precede all of it.

Software and licensing

Licence entitlements alongside the hardware, including the reconciliation nobody wants to discover at renewal.

Services around the hardware

Imaging, staging, installation, cutover support, decommissioning and certified disposal, quoted in the same exercise rather than found later.

How a quote gets faster

What helps, and why

None of these is required. Each one removes a round trip, and round trips are where the days go.

Information that shortens a quote
CriterionWhy it helps
Quantities and a delivery windowLead time is frequently the binding constraint. Knowing when you need it lets us say immediately whether the specification you asked for can arrive in time, or whether an alternative is the better answer.
Where it is goingOne address or forty changes the logistics, the staging and sometimes the price. Multi-site rollouts get quoted with a schedule rather than as a single shipment.
What it is replacingTells us the specification that has to be matched or exceeded, and opens the disposal conversation before it becomes an unbudgeted line at the end.
Whether you want servicesImaging, installation and cutover support are real cost and get discovered late when quoted separately. Including them makes the number comparable to what you will actually spend.
Public sector, and the vehiclePublic purchasing has quote-format and vehicle requirements that are cheaper to meet on the first pass than to redo.
A competing quote, if you have oneWe will tell you honestly where the other supplier is cheaper on the same line. That is more useful than a discount conversation, and it is the fastest way to find out whether we are competitive on your particular basket.

After you send it

What happens to your request

Four steps. The one worth noting is the second, because most suppliers skip it.

  1. 01Same day

    A person reads it

Not an auto-responder with a ticket number. Where the requirement is clear, quoting starts immediately.

  2. 02If needed

One question, not a discovery call

Where something is genuinely ambiguous you get a single specific question by email. Requesting a meeting to establish what you already wrote down is a sales process, not a quoting process.

  3. 03Usually next business day

    Line-item quote, with lead times

Priced per line so you can see what you are paying for, with the lead time against each item and the overall delivery position stated. Where one line is the constraint, it is called out rather than buried.

  4. 04If you want it

    The services conversation

Imaging, staging, installation, disposal, scoped against the same order rather than raised after you have committed to the hardware.

Volume and education

Buying for a fleet

Education institutions, government agencies and businesses buying at fleet scale get quoted differently from single-unit orders, different pricing, different lead times, and usually a staged delivery schedule tied to a term or a rollout. Say so in the form and it routes that way.

The part most often missed on a fleet order is what happens between the pallet arriving and the device reaching a person: imaging, enrolment, asset tagging, distribution and, at the end of the cycle, recovery. Those get quoted alongside the hardware because that is where the real cost and the real schedule risk sit, and because a term date does not move to accommodate a staging bottleneck.

Questions

Before you send it

How fast is a quote?
Same or next business day for a clear bill of materials on stocked lines. Longer where the requirement needs configuring, where a vendor quote has to come back to us, or where the lead time itself is the question, and in those cases you get a holding reply saying what we are waiting on and when we expect it, rather than silence.
Do I need part numbers?
No. A description of what the equipment has to do is a normal starting point and often a better one, because it lets us tell you where the specification you were about to buy is over-provisioned. If you do have a bill of materials, send it as it is, a spreadsheet, a vendor quote, a photograph of a label. We will work from any of those.
Do you price-match?
We will tell you honestly where another supplier is cheaper on the same line, and there are lines where they will be, a pure box-shifter with no services attached has a lower cost base than we do. Where we compete is on the lines where configuration, lead time or the services around the hardware matter. Send us the competing quote and we will say plainly which case yours is.
Why are lead times stated on the quote?
Because they are the part that actually decides whether your project lands. A price without a lead time is half a quote, and a lead time discovered after the purchase order is the single most common cause of an infrastructure project slipping. We supply the hardware directly, so the lead time is a fact we own rather than one we relay from a distributor.
Can you quote services alongside the hardware?
Yes, and it is usually worth doing in one exercise. Imaging, staging, installation, cabling, decommissioning and disposal all have real cost and all get discovered late when they are quoted separately. Say what you want to happen to the equipment after it arrives and the quote covers it.
What if we are a public-sector buyer?
Say so in the form and it routes that way. Public-sector purchasing has its own requirements, vehicles, quote formats, sole-source justification, and sometimes a required registration. Our federal profile page sets out what is on the record, and where a registration is not yet confirmed it says so rather than implying it.
Do you handle disposal of what we are replacing?
Yes, certified recycling with documented data destruction, or return to lease, or redeployment where the specification still fits somewhere. Which one is a decision rather than a default, and it is worth making it at quote time because the disposal cost is real and it is usually forgotten in the business case.
What happens to the information I send?
We reply to you and we follow up once. Submitting this form does not enrol you in a newsletter or a nurture sequence, and we do not sell or share what you send. The fields are deliberately minimal, no revenue band, no headcount, no budget dropdown, because none of those answers changes what we quote.
